A train journey....
One more train journey...but this was not just another train journey.. This was after a long ONAM holiday, after my cousins' engagement, after my close friends' marriage.. I was travelling in sleeper class after so long and I must say this was far better than A/C..Got to sit near emergency window eventhough mine was middle berth.. The cool breeze was caressing my hair and face while I was immersed in the music flowing thru my earphone..Recently loaded some new melodious and romantic malayalam songs..Memories rewinding inside my mind..All those good 'ol times that we spend together..One by one everyone is getting married and settled in their own lives..Once I will also...If GOD permits that day wont be so far..After attending numerous engagements & weddings, my next train trip might be for my own engagement..My mind was preoccupied with all these things and suddenly it rained.. It was raining almost every day this time in Kerala but this was different..I wanted to drench in this but couldn't.. I had to close the windows..But then I could hear the tinkling sound of raindrops making it's way through the window panes leaving a trail behind..The rain stopped, there were tiny droplets lingering to the edges of the window.. Thru the window I could see the moon drifting slowly out of the black clouds..By that time we crossed Kerala border and traces of rain vanished..The sky became clear devoid of the black clouds which helped the moon earlierto play hide n seek with me..Now moon was there, at the very centre of the sky, shining brightly as ever, at me..I have read somewhere that the moonlight is very cold, but dint experience it till now..The song from the latest mal movie 'RITHU' was playing repeatedly from my mobile..The rain, the moon, the song, the wet smell of earth made me so mostalgic and romantic that I thought I will pour my feelings on to words...
Luv,
